Women of Color Photographers Month

2018 Theme: Our Past, Our Present

A Solid Foundation

Celebrate diversity with us in the month of March as we honor and acknowledge women of color photographers, the pioneers from our past, and the tastemakers of our future. Our foundation in the world of photography is solid. It’s important to empower our girls and young ladies to document our culture, our communities, and our families.

International Women’s Day (March 8) and Women’s History Month also take place during the month of March, so it was fitting that Women of Color Photographers Month coincides with the two.

Your support of this movement is invaluable, regardless of how you identify. There’s always been diversity in photography with ladies behind the lens, but for years women of color photographers and their work have not been represented enough.
